My eyes remain in the darkness a little more
with each passing morn
The incessant pull of that other world
grows engulfing me
the silver thread that points my way back
frays and slowly vanishes
leaving me in the void
of my own colorful delusion
weakly trying to reach for reality
until it is forgotten completely
