So Easy bubbles

I'm standing at the start
listening to the winner's cheers
a little too late to cross the line.
I never understood these things I wanted
But now, I can't feel my legs and
I thought it be a little easier
to stand still.

And, all the sounds begin to fade
the footsteps a little off beat and far away
leave me behind.
I never understood these things I wanted
But now, I can't feel my legs and
I thought it be so easy...
just a little easier...
one little step...
forward.
