This song from the anime Fruits Basket makes me feel nostalgic yet happy like when spring is around the corner. I often ponder why certain lyrics catch my attention. It's a little introspection that is ideal for writing and usually the emotions or ideas are great help for character building or even sometimes to move the plot along.
Try it!
Write down why you like a certain song the moment you hear it. Write down your mood or how it makes you feel or if it makes you remember particular events in your life...
Once your little diary entry completed try to see how your sentiments could fit with your characters or events in your story.

Try it now with the song included in this post, feel free to leave your reflections in the comment section above.

Have fun!
